Academy of Valued Based Management (A Unit of ISOL Foundation) publishes the bi – annual International Journal on Spirituality and Organizational Leadership (ISSN 2320 –222X) since January 2013. To be published in IJSOL, a manuscript must make strong empirical and / or theoretical contributions in integrating spirituality and organizational leadership and its application to various spheres of management activities and practice.

About The Journal

Mission Statement

The mission of the International Journal on Spirituality and Organizational Leadership is to publish empirical and theoretical research that tests, extends or builds management theory on integrating spirituality and organizational leadership and its application to various spheres of management activities and practice. All empirical methods – both qualitative and quantitative are welcome. To be published in IJSOL, a manuscript must make strong empirical and / or theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions in understanding the role of spirituality in renewing the contemporary management praxis. The focus of IJSOL is to systematically explore and map the field from different perspectives referring to different disciplines and spiritual and wisdom traditions. Thus, preference is given to the submissions that test, extend or build theoretical frameworks while empirically examining issues with high importance related to holistic and inclusive management theory and practice. IJSOL also welcomes theoretical articles that have strong foundations for future researches. The International Journal on Spirituality and Organizational Leadership is not restricted to any particular discipline, level of analysis, or cultural or national context.

Criteria for Publication

Articles published in the International Journal on Spirituality and Organizational Leadership should be original, insightful and interesting, theoretically strong and / or application oriented and clearly communicates the nature of their contribution in relation to role of spirituality in renewing the contemporary management praxis. Particular emphasis will be placed on potential practical applications.

The submissions will be peer reviewed.

We encourage authors to write manuscripts in a simple and concise way so that the clarity of exposition is revealed. Guidelines are as follows: Articles should not ordinarily exceed 25 double – spaced pages (using one – inch margins and the Times New Roman 12 – point font) inclusive of references, tables, figures and appendixes.

Submission Requirements

When authors submit their manuscripts to IJSOL for publication consideration, they agree to abide by IJSOL publication requirements. Specifically an author must agree that manuscript has not been submitted anywhere else for publication and will not be submitted to another publication entity during the review period of IJSOL.

The Review Process

When manuscript received the initial review is made by the Editor about the suitability of the manuscript for IJSOL. Each issue will have a ‘Guest Editor’. The Review Committee consists of ‘Guest Editor’ and three reviewers from Editorial Board. The Committee is empowered to make all publication decisions.  All submissions will be blind reviewed.

The IJSOL strives to provide constructive feedback to the authors within approximately four months. In order to increase the probability of acceptance at IJSOL we encourage authors to get their manuscript peer reviewed at their own level.

Dr. B. Charumathi

Dr. B. Charumathi is professor of accounting and finance and presently heading the Department of Management Studies, Pondicherry University (A Central University); has 25 years of teaching and research experience with specialization in corporate financial reporting and especially sustainability reporting and corporate social justice disclosure; has received many awards including the 1st Gurushreshtha award of ICSI (2022), AICTE’s Career Award, among others; is the Indian Project Investigator of MoE sponsored SPARC international project on IFRS for SMEs; and is the board member of Pondicherry University Stepup Hub (PUSH), a Section 8 company to promote innovation ecosystem.

Dr. R.P. Singh

Dr. Raghwendra Pratap Singh is Professor at Centre for Philosophy, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067. He has been twice Chairperson of Centre for Philosophy, thrice Member of the Academic Council and of the University Court, besides being member and Chairperson of various committees in the University. He has also been twice Member of the Governing Body of ICPR besides being Member of Board of Studies of many Universities in India. He has to his credit 18 books and over 160 articles published in different peer reviewed journals in India and abroad, besides being member of the Editorial Board of many National and International Journals. He has participated in more than 500 National and International Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and Symposiums in India and abroad.

Dr. Shashi Tiwari

Dr. Shashi Tiwari, Recipient of ‘Certificate of Honour’, 2015 from the President of India, is a well-known Vedic and Sanskrit scholar who taught at Maitreyi College and University of Delhi. She authored thirty-five books mainly on Vedic studies and is honoured with twenty-seven academic awards. Presently she is President of the wider Association for Vedic Studies ( WAVES).

Dr. Arvind Jasrotia

Dr. Arvind Jasrotia is a Professor of Law at University of Jammu (J&K). His administrative experience includes being Registrar; Director CDC; Head and Dean, Law. He is also a member of World Commission on Environmental Law. With over 25 years of teaching and research experience, he has guided number of research scholars and completed ICSSR/DST/UGC projects. As a legal expert, he was part of the project of Ministry of Law and Justice for the translation of Constitution of India into Dogri Language.

His research interests include Climate Justice, Environmental Ethics, Sustainable Development and Human Rights. A passionate follower of the tradition of Advaita Vedanta, he believes in the philosophy of आत्मनॊ मोक्षार्थम् जगद्धिताय च, that is, ‘for one’s own salvation, and for the good of the world’.

Mr. Amresh Kumar Ray is a sustainability and energy efficiency professional. He has worked on various national level energy efficiency policies and programs like ESCO market development, energy efficiency financing, Decarbonization of Indian industries, Energy Transition, Building Energy Efficiency, Energy Efficiency in Cold chain sector etc. Currently, he is working with Confederation of India Industry in the areas of energy policies, sustainability and climate change related research-based projects and programs, Greenhouse gas accounting, Life cycle assessment and other related areas of sustainability.

Mr. Amresh holds an MBA from Faculty of Management studies, University of Delhi along with Post Graduate diploma in management from IGNOU. He has numerous certifications in the domain of sustainability and energy.

His areas of interest include virtue based organizational culture, change management, value based and ethical leadership, Learning organization management, poetry, and management.

Dr Siddharth Gupta is a Senior Professor and Head of Department in the specialty of Oral dental health care Radiology with Shri Venkateshwara University.
Dr Gupta has been working extensively in patient education, counselling and patient motivation in quitting the adverse habits of tobacco consumption thereby prevention of Mouth Cancer, specific identification of the cause in patients with Oral cancer and patients with potentially malignant disorders . He has also been providing treatment with anti-oxidant therapies and alternative medicinal treatment thereby increasing the life span of the medically compromised patients.

Dr Gupta is MBA Health care administration from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.
